Structuring your rakeback site in a certain way can greatly increase conversions.  The main way to do this deals with how you link to pages within your site.  You essentially want to create a funnel that has a wide range of landing pages that all lead to your money pages, or sign up and tracker pages.  The way to do this is to first create a large number of pages that are highly optimized for specific terms for your visitors to enter the site through.  These are landing pages.

Your landing pages should target specific terms that poker players may be searching for.  They should also link to your money pages from both the navigation as well as from within the actual text of the article.  You want people to enter through these pages and end up at your sign up forms and tracker pages.  Make it easy for them to do that. 

Remember that this is not a two way street.  If someone is already on your sign up page, you don’t want them to be distracted by the clever names of different starting hands or an article about poker in the wild west.  Don’t link to these landing pages from all over your money pages.  Instead you can place a link in your footer to one page that links to all of your other content.  This should be enough to get this content indexed without steering potential customers away from converting.  You should also be building deep links to all of these landing pages.  More on that in the off page SEO section coming up.
