Rakeback Page Titles and Descriptions
These are the easiest things to modify on your rakeback site and should be modified for each and every page with a couple of exceptions. Password protected pages do not need to be optimized as search engines cannot read them. Everything else should be modified.
Your page title should always reflect the content of the page and the keyword that you are targeting and nothing else. To add a whole lot of extra text just waters down the real message. An example of a good page title is “Absolute Poker Rakeback”. A bad title for the same page is “Sign Up Here For A Great Deal On Absolute Poker Rakeback”. An even worse title does not even mention “Absoluter Rakeback” or whatever keyword you decide to target.
Your description should also include your main keyword phrase. Keeping with the same theme, a good description may be “Sign up here for the absolute highest percentage return for Absolute Poker Rakeback”. Whatever you use as your description is going to be the text shown under your link when people find your site in the search engines. Adding your keyword will cause that part of your description to be bold on the results page and may make your site stand out. Descriptions probably don’t help incredibly to rank well in the search engines but play a major roll in click through rate so make sure that yours is descriptive and makes searchers want to click on it.
